The World need leaders. People that will rise up inspite of the challenges that they are daily faced with and pull other people up.

Someone said ... the day a leader looks back and find no one following behind him, he is no longer a leader, and he has become a follower. Good piece. This is a disaster for such a leader, because such testimony brings to question his own ability to move his followers along. He has become irrelevant. A leader must always be coming up with ideas and means of implementation, be it at home, church or in the office. A leader must take a lead. A leader is described as that person who (1) builds up people, (2) to achieve goals. I love that definition. You cannot be a leader if you are not building and pushing the people following you to achieve goals. In the course of pushing you are also building, not bullying or else the leaders will lose focus by distractions and unnecessary internal bickering.  Imagine Jesus in his earthly ministry. He was the one who cast the vision (Luke 4:18-19), and did everything to ensure that his goals were achieved and finished (John 19:30). Jesus recruited men (his team, his disciples) that he knew would achieve his goals. The relationship between Jesus and Peter is a good one. He wanted Peter to take the lead (Matt 16:18) but he needed to build him as an all-rounder leader. Jesus came harder on Peter than any other, so that he may not divert his attention. (Matt 16:23).Jesus wanted total commitment, and Peter gave it to him...he said we have left all to follow you... (Matt 19:27). He said this without thinking; hence Jesus confirmed that their reward is both on earth and in heaven. (Matt 19:28 onwards) They started out as volunteers, but they ended up with crowns, thrones and riches untold. It was more of having the same people, with one vision and one commitment and passion. The world is the better for it. So as often times as possible, we need to take a good look at ourselves, and a long look at what we have achieved so far this year. In what ways have you achieved your set goals, in what ways have we touched people. Lets stop the bickering and the convenient lazy man’s excuses, proceed and take a lead. Build yourself and ask for help as may be necessary. Do things in order and share ideas. Don’t wait for anyone, you do it, you take a lead.

BE WHATEVER, IF GOOD.

There are a few guiding principles that I will like to share with you in this article. I strongly believe the decision that we take around our finances goes a long way to determine the outcome that we get. A lot of deliberate action is advised.

“For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” Ecclesiastes 9:4 KJV Happy New Year! If you recall, in the first capsule of 2016, I said that at the end of the year, we would have spiritually made so much progress if we remain steadfast, unmovable and abound in the work of God (1 Corinthians 15:58).
It was not a prophecy; it came with certainty of the Gospel (Good news). But wait; there is much more this year, much more! We would do greater things together this year so don't be distracted by the temporal things. Before we start the first series this year we need a DETOX capsule to cleanse our system, something to do a power flush, so that the system works efficiently and effectively. Two things usually characterize this season (the end and beginning of the year) in any Christian group both small and large. The first is the Prophetic Word with respect to the New Year. This generally speaks positive messages of hope, backed by appropriate scriptures. Although they might come in different flavours, they all without exception are meant to edify and encourage. I sincerely believe that these reflect the heart of God, and they are true. God is LOVE, we are His children, so that is what we should expect, for me that is a 'no brainer' (James 1:17, Jeremiah 29:11, 3 John 1:2). The second thing is a genuine desire to get close to God and know Him better. Hence, most of us start different bible reading plans, subscribe to bible devotionals, invest in Christian books, and take up membership of different prayer/bible study groups and many other laudable endeavours. This also should and must be encouraged.

However what is most important is for you at the end of each year to be able to take stock and assess progress made. This year for each and everyone of my partner I expect an explosion in your spiritual knowledge and capacity. This is not a prophecy; it is based on the certainty of the Gospel (Good news of the completed work of Christ). I have two keys to share that will help unlock the reward for your efforts in this capsule. Don't be an Echo: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11 KJV The first thing is that 'you must know what you think you know'. In Acts 17:11-12, the scriptures described a unique set of people called the Berean Christians. Of all the groups Paul taught, what set them apart was that they received the teachings of Paul with an open mind. But more importantly they spent time to verify that the teachings were true. They were not concerned about the charisma, eloquence or oratory of Paul. Their sole interest was to find out whether it was the TRUTH. Verse 12, says they BELIEVED after they have verified these teachings as true. Notice that THEY were the ones who took the time and effort to 'search the scriptures daily'. This is huge! It always amazes me when I hear Christians say or do things that has no basis in scripture. What is more amazing is when you ask them why, and they cannot explain. They are like echoes, stuck in repeat mode. When you do what the Bereans did, few things happen. The first is that you are able to remove the wheat from the chaff and confirm the true heart of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21). That is why I implore, challenge and encourage MinDGyM partners to spend time and check the bible references we provide, there is no short cut (No man is infallible).

The second reason is that, you cannot live on another man's revelation; you need to meditate on it until it becomes your own! I have benefited immensely from different people and will continue to do so, but before I repeat something, it would have become a revealed knowledge to me.

CONCLUSION  BE SURE OF WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW, THEN DO IT

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Faithful is our God, who has brought us into the Glorious Year of His Reign. I congratulate you for entering into 2017.  God loves you.

The enemy tried his best; but all his plans came to nothing.

God has glorious plans for you this year. Indeed you are crowned and you reign in Christ and with Christ (1 Peter 2:9, Rev 5:10)   It may have been that in 2016, you experienced victories on all sides, count your blessings and praise God! You may have had battles which have remained unresolved. Count your blessings and praise God! You may have had battles which you lost; Regardless, count your blessings and praise God! No matter what the circumstances are, I have an assurance that Christ reigns and in this New Year, you reign with Him.  So be filled with thanks and a godly assurance of who you are in Christ.

1 Peter 2:9:
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;-

This is who you are!

  • He chose you, out of many (John 15:16)
  • Your generation is chosen (1 Peter 2:9)
  • You are a good heritage (Ps 127:3)
  • You have a goodly inheritance (Ps 127:3)
  • You are wonderfully and fearfully made (Ps 139:14)
  • You are of a royal priesthood
  • You are of a holy nation
  • You are special
  • You have been made kings and priests; you reign on earth (Rev 5:10)
  • You are an ambassador in God's kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:20)
  • You are raised up with Christ (Ephesians 2:6)
  • You are crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20)

This year 2017, You reign with Christ and in this month you begin to have good success.

Step up, be Assured; This Year will be the best of your years to date

This month is the month I begin to have good success. Joshua 1:8 The Word of the year 2017 from Reverend Paul Jinadu is based on Joshua 1:8 and the Word for the month of January on Isaiah 41:9-13 (Please meditate on the scriptures)

A happy new year to you and yours.

Blessings 'Tayo and Bimbo Arowojolu
